Overview
Performing data analysis is only part of your job as a data analyst. Once you have the outcome data from your analysis, you need to effectively communicate those results to your stakeholders. This is the pivotal moment when the whole purpose of the analysis comes to fruition. Your major role is to take in raw data, transform it through analysis, and seek answers to direct questions from stakeholders based on the data provided. In some cases, you may even pursue outside data sources to help further define the outcome or opportunity for your stakeholder.
Once you have accomplished this, you then have the role of storyteller. You will need to effectively communicate your findings and use the newly transformed data to help your stakeholder make follow-up decisions. It is imperative that you communicate at their level of (data) understanding. For example, an executive will want high-level information to make organizational decisions. However, an engineering manager may want more details to make specific process decisions.

Discuss presentation techniques.
How do you determine what will be the most effective visualization you can give to your audience, and how does feature selection play a role in that process?
